The Cake
This is the design our baker is going to follow, except our cake won't be offset like this one. We're going to decorate it with a few flowers, maybe hydranges, maybe roses. There are also a couple other cakes on here with designs that we liked as well.
Centerpieces and table ideas
Our arrangements will be purple (or blue, as the florist insisted they are called) and green hydranges in low, square vases. There will also be votives with green ribbon scattered around the table, and we'll have floor length linens.
The centerpieces will be a mixture of green and purple hydranges, in a low square vase.
Our reception card table will have four 16" tall round vases on it, with floating candles like the picture above. We got the vases at Target for $15 each. There were taller ones at Michael's, but they were square and we didn't like them as much.
Table numbers
I borrowed this from a Knottie, who borrowed it from another Knottie.. I love the font (Scriptina) and the way they were done as well. For more info on this, skip over to my DIY page.
Guest Book
The beautiful guest book we picked up at Michaels. We wanted to do the Polaroid/ Adesso album, but it was too much of a hassle.. especially since they stopped making the film last year. Hmm. Anyway, I've been eyeing this guest book for a while, and it appeals to my crafty side, without me actually having to build anything!
